How long have you been racing?

On and off since 2000.

 

How did you get started in racing?

A drug dealer skipped town and his land lord gave my dad his sand rail. I broke my back BMX dirt jumping a couple days later. I read 20year old hot VW mags and books for a month or two with lots of info on off-road racing. Drug dealer tracked us down and asked for his car back. I traded a Baja bug for an antique organ and fixed it up. sold it so I could buy a old Funco race chassis and built it into a short course race car in a month while attending high school.

 

What's your Day job?  

Owner operator of Freshour Precision welding.

 

Who would you say are your biggest fan(s)?

My dad when he was alive. Austin and Colton (my kids).

 

Best race ever?  

ROR dirt wars.

 

What other series have you raced in?

FORDA, SNOWBIRD, WHIPLASH, SCORE, ROR, CORR, IMCA, MOWKART, BOTB, LUCAS, CHAMP.

 

Favorite color? 

RED

 

Favorite track type?

Supercross, short course or enduro track? All, if its racing in the dirt I like it.

 

Favorite class to watch?  

Always super stock and super buggy.

 

Class you want to move up to someday?

It would be awesome to run superstock and super buggy but I’m going to settle for super stock and light buggy.

 

How would you describe your driving style?  

Ridiculous

 

In your opinion, how many S.O.D.A. races would you like to see in 2022? 

5-8

 

What are some of your interests/hobbies/favorite pastimes?

I work a lot. I fit in family time wherever I can while working 90 hours a week. I enjoy building junk with my buddies or racing dumb stuff around. Id rather help a friend fix something in his garage then go on a cruise.

What kind of secret society would you like to start?

Local tax less business trade barter system

 

If animals could talk, which would be the rudest?

Cats

 

Do you have any ‘pre-race’ rituals you run through?

I’m to nervous and try to stay calm. I suit up and wait in my truck and shift sometimes to try to relax. I wear a breath rite nose strip and try to slowly breath thru my nose and exhale.

 

What’s something a lot of people don’t know about you?

I’m bad at smiling for pictures.

 

What is your favorite memory on or off the race track?

When I gave Angela my mom’s bear claw necklace.

My two boys
